Who Can Get It?
People eligible to receive the $1,100 payment are Centrelink recipients that had received a list of specific welfare payments: Age Pension, Disability Support Pension, Carer Payment, Parenting Payment, Youth Allowance, and JobSeeker Payment. The persons must be in receipt of one of these payments on a qualifying date set out in conjunction with Services Australia.
Additionally, low-income earners holding other concession cards, such as the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card or the Low Income Health Care Card, may be eligible as well. There is no need to apply separately-for payments are made automatically on receipt of eligible payments.
When Will the $1,100 Be Paid?
It will most likely be paid during the last quarter of the year of 2025, with most of the recipients receiving it between October and December. Exact payment dates will be advertised closer to the rollout, and money will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of eligible recipients.
